Blue Full Moon EclipseI woke up this morning feeling the new energies coming in . . . and praying that we take time to receive these amazing energies, so we have greater awareness. These energies are coded with information that ignites within us the truth of who we are and why we are here!! We are supported by the energy to manifest our dreams which will result in neutralizing harmful effects for humanity. The more we are divinely inspired and move forward, the more we are supporting this whole transition! Hopefully we are all asking for clarity. Waiting to be sure we are in communion with Father/Mother through Jesus Christ and showing sincerity in the matter is key, of course!! If I don't get my answers right away, I set my intentions at night before going to sleep and something usually comes through in my dream time. And if not then, I fast so I am aware. I don't want to miss my cues!! ������ Ouch!! Energies have been rather stagnant the last little while and we wonder if we are ever going to get clarity as most of us are aware there was an upshift first part of January. These eclipses are bringing in energy needed for more clarity eclipsing out of our lives what doesn't fit or belong. Be willing to 'let go' of what is causing stagnation, or isn't aligning with our guidance. Having these two eclipses so close means we may be in for some major changes that are obvious to see.


I just wanted to send blessings for co-creating. . . this year is a biggee!! Notice what is coming through or up in your life.  Take time at the new moons and watch what manifests at the full moons. There is a culmination of energy and the heavens use these alignments and cosmic events in creation themselves. This is the full moon so pay attention what is manifesting in your life and what is trying to eclipse out as I said this is also an eclipse. At the full moon, it is time to enjoy what it is you have been setting intentions for. If you are inspired and love what you are doing, it will manifest at some point. All depends on how big it is. The global work takes time and is conditioned upon so many things. But those who have been on the forefront to bring in a millennial time, are going to reap some blessings this year which will benefit all of humanity!! 


Enjoy the blessings being bestowed upon us. We are literally being endowed. Intending and receiving whatever gifts required to fulfill why we are here is very important and if we have been doing our inner temple work, the gifts can be ignited rather quickly--like instantaneously.

Baking Soda May Reduce Premature Death

Research published this month in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology found that having balanced baking soda, or bicarbonate, levels in your body could reduce your chances of an early death.
The study examined data compiled in the Health, Aging and Body Composition Study for 2,287 participants. Participants were healthy adults who, at the onset of the study in 1997, were between the ages of 70 and 79, and were followed for approximately 10 years. Survival data were gathered through February 2014.
What did they find?Study author Dr. Kalani Raphael, associate professor and nephrology and hypertension specialist at the University of Utah, and colleagues investigated pH, carbon dioxide and bicarbonate in association with long-term survival. According to the University of Utah press release, “Critically ill patients with severe acid-base abnormalities have a very low likelihood of surviving their illness, but it’s unclear whether more subtle changes in the body’s acid-base status have an effect on the longevity of relatively healthy older people.”

Raphael and colleagues found that low levels of bicarbonate may be linked to an increased risk for premature death by 24 percent. Sodium bicarbonate assists your body in balancing pH levels, possibly extending life. “What we found was that generally healthy older people with low levels of bicarbonate had a higher risk of death,” Raphael said. “Adding the pH measurement into the equation didn’t change the results, which is important because pH is not routinely measured.”
The study’s findings may assist clinicians in better assessing a patient’s risk of premature death by analyzing their blood bicarbonate concentrations more closely. Clinicians can recommend dietary adjustments to patients with low bicarbonate concentrations to optimize health.

If you want to balance your pH levels by getting more sodium bicarbonate in your diet, eating more fruits and vegetables is the key.
Fruits and vegetables high in potassium and bicarbonate will have a negative potential renal acid load (PRAL) score. This represents the amount of acid produced by the kidneys after metabolism. Note from The Watchdog…Baking Soda and Exercise Performance:
One last thing to mention here about the benefits of baking soda… There are many recent studies that reveal that taking baking soda mixed with water about 60-90 minutes before exercise shows significant improvements in exercise performance, which can equate to the results you get from exercise.
The dosages in the studies were generally about 90-135 mg per lb of body weight, which would basically equate to about 2-3 teaspoons mixed in water for most people.  However, it was noted that this quantity caused stomach upset for some people.  If this is the case, you could test smaller amounts spaced out over time, such as 1 teaspoon 2 hrs before exercise and another teaspoon 1 hr before exercise.
The theory as to why baking soda helps exercise performance is that it helps reduce the effects of lactic acid on the muscles and allows you to do more reps before fatigue sets in.

Fermented Foods for Health

Look in your pantry, cupboards, and fridge. If you’re new to fermented foods, you may not realize how many you already have in your home. And that’s a good thing. Fermentation is a process that humans mastered millennia ago – most likely, Grok and his family stored some veggies or fruits a little longer than usual, and poof. The birth of a new class of foods.
The evolution of fermentation took place in prehistory to a great extent, and written records of beer recipes and archeological finds of wine casks date back to our earliest days of recorded human history. With thousands of years to experiment with fermentation, our species has created an astounding variety of delicious and healthy foods.
 

You’re probably aware that processing our food didn’t do us any favors – fermented foods largely disappeared from the modern diet. Sure, we’ve got beer and wine, but many fermented foods with healthy uses disappeared at the dawn of fermentation. Others lay hidden in your diet. You benefit from their presence, but don’t know the reason why.

It’s time to bring your heroes into the limelight.
In this article, we’re highlighting the hidden helpers. Foods that you are already eating – even if you haven’t had the chance to clean out your cupboards and start home fermenting for better health. You’ve got nutritional allies in your pantry, and it’s time you learned who they are.



1.Cheese
You may not realize it, but cheese is a fermented food. Making healthy, delicious, raw cheese requires the help of live cultures. The blue vein in blue cheese is a specific type of fungus. The nutty flavor of cheddar is the result of particular bacterial strains. Looking for fermented foods that the whole family will love? Fresh and raw cheeses are great places to start.
2.Yogurt and/or kefir
Look at the back of your yogurt package in the fridge, or the bottle of kefir you just bought. You’ll see a line that says “live and active cultures” or a long list of ingredients with names like L. 3.Sauerkraut
Love it or hate it, sauerkraut is probably lurking in your pantry someplace. This is one of the most popular fermented vegetables on dinner tables everywhere, and whether you make yours from scratch or buy it premade, it’s one of the easiest fermented foods to recognize, and packs a powerful health punch.
4.Sourdough bread
Bet you didn’t know bread could be fermented! Sourdough bread is leavened using a natural starter containing wild yeasts. That starter sits, bubbling away and fermenting, prior to being added to the rest of the bread’s ingredients. The result is a healthier, easier-to-digest loaf with a characteristic flavor.
5.Coffee
Did you realize your morning Joe was fermented? To be honest, even though I love fermented foods, I was clueless about this one until fairly recently, when a friend told me how coffee is made. Coffee is one of those foods that is thrown back and forth across the nutritional line in a never-ending game of tennis – one day it’s great for you, the next day it’s a horrible choice. I side in favor of drinking it in moderation, and love the fact that it’s fermented during production. In fact, the fermentation process is part of the origin of coffee’s flavor. Yum!
6.Chocolate
If you’re a chocaholic, you’ve probably questioned the health benefits of your favorite food. Sure, the tannins in it are great for you, and dark chocolate can increase the flexibility of your arteries, but how healthy can a mouthwatering French truffle dusted in Dutch cocoa really be?
The jury is still out on that one. This is one food that requires fermentation to create, however. Unfortunately, over-fermentation of chocolate can reduce its heart-healthy bitter tannin content, although it does help to create a better flavor profile.
7.Pickles
OK, you probably knew pickles were fermented. But did you know that you’ve got to choose your brands carefully if you want to maximize the health benefit? In fact, I’d advise making most of your fermented vegetables at home, just to ensure you’re not getting vinegar-dipped versions. (Don’t get me wrong, I love vinegar…you just get more nutritional value when you ferment the vegetable, not just stick it in a fermented liquid.)
8.Vinegar
The health benefits of vinegar are numerous – there are even books dedicated to the topic of apple cider vinegar. I won’t bore you with the details, but I will say that I enjoy using vinegar liberally in the kitchen. From white balsamic to rice vinegar, the flavors profiles are numerous and the health benefits are plentiful for this delightful fermented liquid. And if you’re into making your own cleaning supplies, white vinegar is something you won’t want to live without.
9.Miso
Most cultures around the world have rich fermentation traditions, and the Japanese are no exception. Miso soup is a common side dish, and simple to make. At its core, it’s fermented form a mix of soybeans, salt, and the fungus Aspergillus oryzae. Admittedly, I limit my soy intake (allergies and that little issue of phytoestrogens…), but miso is still one of my favorite treats. If you love Asian cuisine, indulge yourself.
10.Kombucha
More than a ‘fad,’ kombucha is a fermented drink, the health benefits of which are widely touted. A 2014 study reports that kombucha tea (KT) “can efficiently act in health prophylaxis and recovery due to four main properties: detoxification, antioxidation, energizing potencies, and promotion of depressed immunity. The recent experimental studies on the consumption of KT suggest that it is suitable for prevention against broad-spectrum metabolic and infective disorders. This makes KT attractive as a fermented functional beverage for health prophylaxis.”
In other words, kombucha can help individuals with metabolic disorders and give your immune system a swift kick in the pants when necessary.
If you’re new to a fermented and whole foods lifestyle, you probably felt a little overwhelmed before reading this article. Hopefully, you’re realizing that the change to a healthier way of living isn’t that drastic. The keys are already in your kitchen.

What Causes Rheumatoid Arthritis

Scientists don’t know what causes rheumatoid arthritis, but many suspect that the microbiome—the bacteria that live in our gastrointesntial tracts—may be to blame.
Doctors aren’t entirely sure what triggers rheumatoid arthritis, a disease in which the body turns on itself to attack the joints, but an emerging body of research is focusing on a potential culprit: the bacteria that live in our intestines.
 

Several recent studies have found intriguing links between gut microbes, rheumatoid arthritis, and other diseases in which the body’s immune system goes awry and attacks its own tissue.

A study published in 2013 by Jose Scher, a rheumatologist at New York University, found that people with rheumatoid arthritis were much more likely to have a bug called Prevotella copri in their intestines than people that did not have the disease. In another study published in October, Scher found that patients with psoriatic arthritis, another kind of autoimmune joint disease, had significantly lower levels of other types of intestinal bacteria.


“This is frontier stuff. With the microbiome, we’ve added a new player to the game.”This work is part of a growing effort by researchers around the world to understand how the microbiome—the mass of microbes that live in the gastrointestinal tract—affects our overall health. The gut contains up to a thousand different bacteria species, which together weigh between one and three pounds. This mass contains trillions of cells, more than the number of cells that make up our own bodies. Over the past several years, scientists have compiled a growing collection of evidence that many of these bugs may have a major effect on our well-being, with some triggering chronic, non-infectious ailments such as rheumatoid arthritis, and others protecting against such diseases.
“It’s become more and more clear that these microbes can affect the immune system, even in diseases that are not in the gut,” says Veena Taneja, an immunologist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, who has found clear differences in the bacterial populations of mice bred to be genetically prone to rheumatoid arthritis. In those more susceptible to the disease, a species of bacteria from the Clostridium family dominates. In mice without arthritis, other strains flourish, and the Clostridium strains are scarce.
“This is frontier stuff,” says Scher, the director of the NYU’s Microbiome Center for Rheumatology and Autoimmunity. “This is a shift in paradigm. By including the microbiome, we’ve added a new player to the game.”
Scientists are especially intrigued by how these bacteria influence the immune system. In recent decades, the incidence of many autoimmune diseases has been increasing; many microbiome researchers argue that at least some of this rise is due to changes in our bacterial ecosystem. Altered diet, the explosion of antibiotic use, and decreasing contact with the microbe-packed natural world of animals and plants have all combined to transform the bacteria that call humans home. “Our microbiome has changed significantly over the past century, and especially over the past 50 years,” says NYU microbiologist Martin Blaser, who puts much of the blame on widespread use of antibiotics. “We’re losing microbes with each generation; they are going extinct. These changes have consequences.”

They’re part of who we are.”Blaser points to his own research on a species of bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (so named because it looks something like a helicopter). He sampled the gut bacteria of a group of U.S. children, and found that Helicobacter pyloriexisted in only 6 percent of them. By comparison, other research has shown that the strain is common in the vast majority of people from many parts of the world, especially in developing countries. The decline of Helicobacter pylori in the West, which is likely related to the spread of antibiotics as well as improved sanitation, may have medical consequences: Some research indicates that the bacteria may reduce the risk of asthma, perhaps by curtailing the body’s immune response to airborne stimuli. Blaser suspects that asthma is one of the illnesses affected by our changing microbiome: Rates in the U.S. have been climbing for three decades, and grew by more than 28 percent between 2001 and 2011.
Blaser argues that H. pylori and other gut microbes are so deeply involved in our bodily operations that they shouldn’t really be considered aliens. “They are part of who we are,” he says. “These organisms are part of our developmental choreography; they have an enormous amount to do with how our immune system develops.”
In fact, these bacteria have a powerful vested interest in controlling how our bodies respond to interlopers. Blaser and others say that it appears that many of the bugs that live inside us have thrived by modulating the immune system to avoid being recognized—and attacked—as invaders; in essence, these organisms train immune cells not to be trigger-happy. A microbiome with the wrong sorts of bugs, or the wrong ratio of bugs—a situation known as dysbiosis—may unbalance this immune system, causing immune cells to assault not only bacteria, but also the body itself.
Microbes are especially influential in the gut, which houses two-thirds of the body’s immune cells. As the pathway for digestion, the gastrointestinal tract must deal with a constant stream of food-related foreign microbes, which must be monitored and, if they are harmful, destroyed. To do this, our intestines have developed an extensive immune system, whose effects reach far beyond the gut. Immune cells in the gut seem to be able to activate inflammatory cells throughout the body, including in joints.
But while many scientists are confident of the link between the microbiome and arthritis, they haven’t pinned down what particular role bacteria play in triggering the disease. Scher says Prevotella copri may stimulate an immune reaction that then targets joint tissue. Or it may crowd out beneficial microbes that keep immune-system attack cells being too aggressive [a theory supported by the fact that people with high levels of Prevotella copri also had reduced amounts of the bacteria Bacteroides fragilis, which seems to restrain the immune system. Scher suspects that a similar mechanism may explain the results in the psoriatic arthritis study; the missing microbe species--Akkermansia, Ruminococcus, and Pseudobutyrivibrio—may signal the immune system to ease off.
Dozens of researchers are looking into a range of potential strategies to use bacteria as medicine for immune disorders.Scher thinks that eventually, it will be possible to treat arthritis by adjusting the microbiome. Already, millions of Americans ingest probiotics—cocktails of supposedly beneficial bacteria that claim to treat everything from acne to insomnia. Scher, like many microbiome scientists I spoke to, is skeptical that these products are useful. “Probiotics are generally safe and almost completely untested,” says Scher. “There’s this idea that you can simply replace certain bugs that are missing. I don’t think it’s as simple as that.” For one, he says, it’s not clear whether most microbes from probiotics can survive the digestive process.
Scher puts more faith in modifying the microbiome through diet. He notes that some patients with rheumatoid arthritis have benefitted from cutting out meat, or adopting a Mediterranean diet (high in fish, olive oil, and vegetables, and low in meat and saturated fat), though scientists don’t know exactly why this helps. In a separate study, Finnish researchers found that a vegan diet changed the gut microbiome, and that this change was linked to an improvement in arthritis symptoms.
Others are focusing on particular bugs over diet. At the Mayo Clinic, Taneja has found that a species of Prevotella bacteria, P. histicola, can prevent or halt the mouse versions of both rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis, an autoimmune disease of the brain and nerves. She is hoping to begin studies on humans in the next few months.
And some scientists are focusing not on the microbes, but on the compounds they produce. B. Fragilis, for instance, may ease autoimmune disease by releasing a molecule called polysaccharide A, or PSA. Harvard University microbiologist Dennis Kasper, who discovered the compound, has found that when given PSA, mice are protected from certain autoimmune diseases, including MS.
“I don’t see why it can’t happen. This isn’t science fiction.”Kasper says PSA may be a more effective and reliable way to modify the immune system than adjusting the balance of microbes. PSA also has an advantage over medicines now used for autoimmune disease, Kasper says: It is subtle. Rather than suppressing the entire immune system—an approach that has obvious disadvantages to the patient—PSA instructs immune cells to continue to patrol without going after harmless targets. “This is a molecule that we have lived with for eons,” Kasper, who has recently begun working on ways to turn PSA into medicine for humans, told me. “We know that our bodies can live with it.”
Right now, doctors aren’t using microbes or their metabolites in patients with arthritis or M.S., but Scher, like Kasper, is optimistic: “In 10 or 15 years I think the microbiome will be a key therapeutic option for some of these diseases,” he says. “There will be challenges, but I don’t see why it can’t happen. This isn’t science fiction.”

How Glyphosate Can Cause Gluten Sensitivity, Makes You Sick, and is More Prevalent Than You Think
What is Glyphosate? Glyphosate is the active ingredient in the well-known weed-killer, “Roundup”. Glyphosate was patented by Monsanto in the 1970’s, and brought to the consumer market as Roundup in 1974, and became one of the best-selling and most well-known herbicides in the country. It’s use is widespread—not only is it used by homeowners on their lawns, but it’s used on golf courses, cemeteries, parks, and farms. Glyphosate has also become a favorite of farmers using it to kill weeds growing in their crops of wheat, oats, corn and soybeans.
Unfortunately, its use is now spread across the globe and it is heavily used here in the United States, but also Europe and other countries across the globe. Since its early introduction, glyphosate has now become one of the most widely used herbicides around the world.
In 1994, genetically modified crops were created to be “Roundup Ready”, and  introduced as being tolerant to this chemical, so its herbicidal action wouldn’t harm the agricultural crops, but would have a greater weed-killing effect on all other plants in the same field. Glyphosate went from being used in between rows of crops to kill just the weeds, to being used to heavily douse GM crops resistant to this toxic chemical.
A recently published paper describes the escalating use of glyphosate: 18.9 billion pounds have been used globally since its introduction in 1974, but a whopping 74 % of all glyphosate sprayed on crops has been applied in just the last 10 years as cultivation of GMO wheat, corn and soybeans expanded in the U.S. and globally.
Glyphosate is Heavily Used too on Non GMO Crops to Speed Up Harvest Times
Farmers often have trouble getting their grain crops like corn, wheat and barley to dry out quickly for harvest, especially in wetter climates. So, for those non GMO crops that are not Roundup Ready, the agri-chemical companies came up with the idea to kill the crop (with glyphosate) one to two weeks before harvest to accelerate the grain dry-out. This pre-harvest use of glyphosate allows farmers to harvest crops as much as two weeks earlier than they normally would.
Crop desiccation with glyphosate is now a very common practice, with glyphosate now being sold worldwide by over 40 companies under a variety of trade names. Farmers use massive amounts of glyphosate on non GMO crops such as wheat, oats, soybeans, and other crops right before harvest. Along with wheat and oats, glyphosate is used to desiccate a wide range of other crops including lentils, peas, soybeans, corn, flax, rye, triticale, buckwheat, millet, canola, sugar beets and potatoes. These food products are essentially drenched with glyphosate just a couple weeks prior to harvest, meaning even higher levels of glyphosate that linger once these crops are harvested.


Glyphosate’s Connection to Serious Health Issues
Originally deemed as “safe” and innocuous – as shown by this study done in 2000,  published in the Journal of Regulatory Toxicology and Pharmacology, Monsanto, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, along with the FDA, show an obvious lack of governmental concern.
However, more recent studies have surfaced showing glyphosate is not only a dangerous chemical that has invaded our entire food system, but it has been linked to autism,  non-Hodgkin lymphoma, serious food allergies (including celiac disease), Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, obesity, reproductive issues, and liver problems.
Scientists around the world have been reviewing negative research concerning glyphosate, and it has been under even more serious scrutiny since the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified the herbicide as a “probable human carcinogen” in 2015.
In addition, the IARC also stated, “Glyphosate also caused DNA and chromosomal damage in human cells…and one study in community residents reported increases in blood markers of chromosomal damage (micronuclei) after glyphosate was sprayed nearby.”  Seventeen leading global cancer experts from the IARC sparked a firestorm when they classified glyphosate as a class 2A “probable human carcinogen”.
In 2016, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was set to conduct a risk assessment for glyphosate to determine if future use should be limited, but it was subsequently postponed, due, in part, to intense lobbying by the agrichemical industry.
More than three dozen lawsuits have been filed in California alone against Monsanto by people claiming Roundup gave them non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and both European and U.S. regulators are evaluating the chemical for continued use.
The increasing health issues that are now being tied to glyphosate are most likely caused from the massive increase in its usage, especially due to the escalating practice of grain crop desiccation just prior to the harvest.
Glyphosate Kills Off Beneficial Bacteria in the GutThis recent study shows glyphosate’s connection to the disruption of key gut bacteria, impairing enzymes that are key to detoxifying the body and causing deficiencies in vitamins A and D3, and impairing the body’s ability to produce bile, a key substance in digestion of fats.
Glyphosate also binds with iron, cobalt, molybdenum, copper and other vital minerals in the body, creating serious deficiencies. Other deficiencies in key amino acids have been associated with both celiac disease and glyphosate exposure as well. And, glyphosate is now known to cause extreme disruptions in important beneficial microbes in our digestive tract, allowing overgrowth of harmful pathogens.
Dr. Seneff, a world reknown MIT Phd and scientist, surmises that gluten binds to glyphosate in the digestive system, creating a highly allergenic substance that people react to. This same thing applies to corn, soy, nuts, and peanuts sprayed with glyphosate. The very action of spraying crops with glyphosate creates a highly allergenic substance.  Glyphosate also kills off the beneficial bacteria important to the digestion of wheat and other grains. This includes bifido bacteria and lactobaccillus bacteria. Glyphosate disrupts a critical pathway in plants as well, destroying three of their essential amino acids which help our bodies create serotonin. Serotonin deficiencies lead to anxiety, depression, violent behavior, and other mental illnesses. Glyphosate also depletes the body of tyrosine, an essential nutrient needed proper thyroid hormone. As a consequence, thyroid issues are increasing as well—often manifesting as hypothyroid problems, or autoimmune Hashimoto thyroid conditions. Additionally, glyphosate interferes with the activation of vitamin D in the liver by inhibiting the cytochrome P450 enzymes, creating a host of other problems related to vitamin D deficiency.
Says Dr. Seneff, “…most of the diseases and conditions associated with a Western diet, which include gastrointestinal disorders, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression, autism, infertility, cancer and Alzheimer’s disease…can be traced back to a combination of gut dysbiosis, impaired sulfate transport, and suppression of the activity of the various members of the cytochrome P450 (CYP) family of enzymes.” All connected to exposure to glyphosate.
What is especially alarming is that, in April 2016, Anresco – which is a U.S. Federal Drug Administration (FDA) registered lab utilizing one of the most reliable tests for analyzing glyphosate residues — tested some 29 different foods commonly found in grocery stores. Some of the highest glyphosate residue was found in General Mills Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Stacy’s Pita crackers, Ritz crackers, Lucy’s oatmeal cookies, Kashi dark chocolate soft baked cookies, Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies, and Oreos, and dozens of other so-called ‘healthy’ cereals and snacks.  See the full report here.
“Frankly, such a high level of glyphosate contamination found in Cheerios, Doritos, Oreos and Pita Chips are alarming and should be a wake-up call for any parent trying to feed their children safe, healthy and non-toxic food,” Dave Murphy, executive director of Food Democracy Now, said.
The EPA sets a “maximum residue limit” (MRL), also known as a tolerance, for pesticide residues on food like corn and soybeans. MRLs for glyphosate vary depending upon the commodity. As of June, 2017 the FDA has resumed its evaluation of glyphosate in our food supply, after dropping the testing last year.
The list of common crops desiccated with glyphosate prior to harvest is long and alarming.  According to the EPA, glyphosate in used in the U.S. on at least 70 different food crops, including grains, spinach, avocados, almonds, walnuts, figs, plums, grapes, kiwi, lemons, grapefruit, pistachios, peanuts, and pomegranates. Check out the full list here. The widespread usage of glyphosate makes it nearly impossible to avoid, and sample testing shows 93% test positive for glyphosate in their bodies.

How to Avoid Glyphosate
No matter how healthy and ‘clean’ we try to eat, this pervasive chemical is extremely difficult to avoid!  It is now being used on most all conventional crops, and is so widespread in our environment, its residues are showing up in water run-off, streams, lakes, and rain. It can be carried through the air, so that organic foods now show traces of glyphosate. It’s been found in honey, cereals, meat, drinking water, infant formula, chips, cookies, fruit, and even breast milk!
Things you can do to avoid or minimize your glyphosate exposure:
  • Of course, eat organic whenever possible. Especially if you choose to eat grains and legumes, which have some of the highest levels of glyphosate. In fact, research has shown that eating an organic diet for 1 week reduces pesticide exposure in the diet by 90%
  • Avoid eating grains at all if you can—they raise blood sugar levels, increase insulin resistance, and cause weight gain when consumed in excess anyway.
  • Avoid all processed foods unless they say 100% organic.
  • Drink organic wine.
  • Eat meat, poultry, eggs, butter and dairy products from 100% grass fed or organically fed animals.
  • Buy local whenever possible.
  • Eat sulfur rich foods like eggs, organic cheese, onions and garlic. Glyphosate exposure in the body depletes sulfur and also effects sulfate pathways.
  • Eat lots of fermented foods and probiotics. Especially important are fermented foods with a live culture of acetobacter. This includes organic apple cider vinegar, sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha, cheeses and yogurt.
  • Supplement with glutathione and manganese—two nutrients glyphosate depletes.
  • Get plenty of sun so your body can make vitamin D, or supplement with D3.
Detoxing Your Body of GlyphosateEating a clean, organic diet and being aware of the origins of your food, will go a long way towards reducing the levels of glyphosate and other toxic pesticides in your system.
While Monsanto tries to retain global power over our food supply, we as individuals can take control over what we put in our bodies and the toxins we want to avoid. Let’s make a strong stand against Monsanto by choosing organic and locally grown foods.
Personal note from Catherine—While I have followed all the news articles on glyphosate over the last 5-10 years, I never really thought it had affected me. I eat a mostly low-grain diet, and concentrate on organic plant-based foods and naturally raised meats. However, in the mid 90’s, probably around 1995-96, which was coincidentally right after the introduction of GMO’s and Roundup resistant plants, as well as dramatically increased usage of Roundup, I became very allergic to wheat/gluten, and soon after developed an allergy to corn products, as well as soy. Not long after, I develop an allergy to nuts and peanuts, as well. I am now so sensitive, that it only takes trace amounts of these foods to cause an allergic reaction.
The most telling thing, however, was when I traveled to Peru, Ecuador, and Nepal and was able to eat–without any noticeable reaction–wheat, corn, as well as nuts and peanuts!  It was astounding! Most importantly, those countries do not use glyphosate on their crops, as of yet.

Borax -- The Inexpensive Detox

Absolutely nothing is more disheartening and frustrating than to be doing everything you believe to be right, and spending hours a day teaching others about real food and nutrition, while suffering in silence with unexplained joint pain and trying to hide an ever incapacitating limp!

And then at a Weston A. Price conference on nutrition, Sally Fallon casually dropped a ‘precious jewel’ that has given me the promise of a whole new day! A day? (a lifetime?) without the pain, stiffness and inflammation that have become my albatross. I would like to share it with you, because I know that too many people are suffering just like me.
BORON is a mineral that is simply an activator. It helps to activate or cause many other functions to happen within the body. Boron is one of the main minerals used in the bone building process. Boron initiates estrogen by helping convert vitamin D into an active state. The estrogen then improves absorption of calcium. Boron also helps metabolism to take place within the bone. With this metabolism properly functioning, osteoporosis is not a major factor to a person’s health. Once osteoporosis sets in, Boron can play a major role in helping the body to replace lost calcium.



Boron also assists in preventing arthritis and tooth decay. Boron is one of the minerals necessary for building and repairing joint cartilage. Boron is essential in maintaining the correct levels of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus in the body. Boron helps to regulate hormones, especially estrogen and testosterone. Boron also helps maintain brain function and memory capabilities.
Boron deficiency can cause cell walls to become very weak and fragile, rendering the cells incapable of properly transferring nutrients into them. The body depends on Boron for performing most of its functions. With its interactions with calcium and other minerals…

Boron is essential for ALL life in plants as well as animals. Boron is essential for the integrity and function of cell walls and the way signals are transmitted across cellular membranes.
When ingested it reacts with hydrochloric acid in the stomach to form Boric acid, ingested Boron compounds are rapidly and nearly completely excreted with the urine.
Chemical fertilizers inhibit the uptake of Boron from the soil. An organic apple grown in rich soil may have 20 mg Boron, but if grown with fertilizer it may have only 1 mg of Boron. The average intake of Boron in developed countries is only 1-2 mg of Boron per day.
This creates health problems due to Boron deficiency which is now very common, but very few of us know about it.
BORON DEFICIENCY SYMPTOMS
Boron is necessary throughout the body with the highest concentration in the parathyroid glands, the bones, joints and the dental enamel. It is essential for healthy bone and joint function, it is responsible for regulating the absorption and metabolism of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.
Some symptoms of Boron deficiency are arthritis, brittle bones, carpal tunnel syndrome, degenerative joint disease, hormonal imbalance, loss of libido, memory loss, muscle pain, osteoporosis, receding gum, and weak joint cartilage. Boron deficiency causes greatly increased amounts of calcium and magnesium to be lost with the urine.
Boron deficiency causes the parathyroid to become overactive and stressed which causes the glands to release too much parathyroid hormone. Excess parathyroid hormones raise the blood level of calcium by releasing calcium from the bones, joints and teeth into the blood stream. This then leads to osteoarthritis and other forms of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile arthritis, spondylitis, gout, lupus, osteoporosis, pyorrhea and tooth decay.
With advancing age high blood levels of calcium lead to calcification of soft tissues causing muscle contractions and stiffness; calcification of the eyes, endocrine glands, especially the pineal gland and the ovaries. Arteriosclerosis, kidney stones, and calcification of the kidneys ultimately leading to kidney failure. When the intracellular calcium levels get too high the cells will die!
Bone analysis has shown that arthritic joints and nearby bones have only half the Boron content of healthy joints. Equally, synovial fluid that lubricates joints and provides nutrients to the cartilage is Boron deficient in arthritic joints.
Arthritis in its various forms and its close relative osteoporosis affect a very large percentage of the population in developed countries. Osteoporosis is responsible for more long-term hospital care than any other individual disease. This is due to the very high incidence of fractures, and especially the protracted nature of hip fractures.
Please note that these ‘casualties’ are a main source of income for the medical-pharmaceutical system!
HEALTH EFFECTS OF BORON
A Boron supplement will reduce the daily loss of calcium by nearly 50%. As this calcium is withdrawn mainly from your bones and teeth, Boron deficiency may be the most important factor in causing arthritis, osteoporosis and tooth decay today.
Boron affects the metabolism of steroid hormones, and especially the sex hormones. Supplementing with Boron increases low testosterone levels in men and estrogen levels in menopausal women. Boron also has an important role in converting vitamin D to its active form, thus increasing the calcium uptake and deposition into the bones and teeth rather than causing soft tissue to calcify. Also other beneficial effects have been reported such as improvement of heart disease, vision, psoriasis, balance, memory and cognition.
A German cancer researcher by the name of Dr. Paul-Gerhard Seeger has shown that cancer commonly starts with the deterioration of cell membranes. Since Boron is essential for cell membranes and Boron deficiency is widespread, this may be an important cause for the initiation of tumor growth. Boron compounds have anti-tumor properties and are “potent anti-osteoporotic, anti-inflammatory, hypolipemic, anti-coagulant and anti-neoplastic agents” (1).

The missing linkIn the 1960’s a soil and plant scientist by the name of Rex Newnham, Ph.D., D.O., N.D, developed arthritis.
He tried conventional drugs but they not help so he looked for answers in the chemistry of plants. He realized that plants in the area in which he lived were mineral deficient. Knowing that Boron aids calcium metabolism in plants he decided to try supplementing with BORAX. Yes, you read it right…Borax. You may find it unimaginable that Borax, the humble insecticide and laundry detergent seems to be the missing link!
Dr. Newnham took 30 mg of Borax per day and in three weeks ALL pain, swelling and stiffness had disappeared!
The chemical names for Borax are Sodium Tetraborate, Disodium Tetraborate Decahydrate, or Sodium Borate. Chemically it is all the same, it is a naturally occurring mineral commonly mined from dried salt lakes. There is no “food-grade” Borax available or necessary as all Borax is the same and “natural”, it is usually mined in California or Turkey. Borax is commonly used as household cleaner, it is non-toxic and does not contain heavy metals. Pharmaceutical grade is not noticeably purer or better. Borax has antiseptic, antifungal, and antiviral properties but only mild antibacterial action.

Ingredients: A NATURAL MINERAL.Most of Dr. Rex Newnham’s later research was devoted to the relationship between soil Boron levels and arthritis. He published several scientific papers on Borax and arthritis. One was a double-blind trial in the mid 1980’s at the Royal Melbourne Hospital which showed that 70% of those who completed the trial were greatly improved. There were no negative side-effects reported, some participants reported that their heart ailments had also improved, and there was better general health and more energy. (3)
He told public health and medical school authorities about his discovery but they were more concerned about loss of their own profits and ended up instigating a government law that Boron be declared a poison in any concentration. This resulted in Dr. Newnham being fined and threatened and Borax becoming unavailable in the country in which he lived. Before the national ban, many people with arthritis who heard of Dr. Newnham’s discovery were delighted as they began supplementing with Borax and saw vast improvement. Others were afraid to take something that was being sold to kill cockroaches and ants.
SOIL BORON LEVELS
Dr. Rex Newnham’s research found that the traditional sugarcane islands, due to long-term heavy use of fertilizers, have very low soil Boron levels. Jamaica has the lowest level of soil Boron and the arthritis rates of the population are 70%, he noted that even most of their dogs were limping.
The Mauritius islands off the southeast coast of Africa have very low Boron levels and 50% of the populations suffers with arthritis. The daily Boron intake in these countries is less than 1 mg/day.
An interesting comparison is between India and the native Fijians. The Indians are estimated to have an arthritis rate of 40% and eat much rice grown with fertilizer while the native Fijians with an estimated arthritis rate of 10% and eat mainly starchy root vegetables grown without fertilizer.
The US, England, Australia and New Zealand generally have average soil-Boron levels with an estimated intake of 1 to 2 mg of Boron and arthritis rates of approximately 20%.
Israel has some of the best soil in the world and a very high Boron content, with an estimated daily Boron intake of 5 to 8 mg. An independent survey in 1978-1980 at Kaplan Hospital showed arthritis for the whole country to be less than 1%.
Carnarvon in Western Australia has high Boron levels both in the soil and water, and the arthritis rate is only 1%.
It is similar to a place named Ngawha Springs in New Zealand which has very high Boron levels in the spa water and is acclaimed as a curative for arthritis. A hotel in Ngawha has a collection of wheelchairs and crutches that were left behind by people who no longer needed them when they left to go home after their stay there. Incidentally ALL SPAS reputedly curing arthritis have very high Borax levels.
You may have read about green lipped mussel extract from New Zealand that is claimed to relieve arthritis pain and other symptoms. These mussels were gathered from a volcanic island with vents under the sea. The NZ mussels have absorbed Boron from the sea; that is the secret to their healing properties. Mussels gathered from other areas do not have the same effect because they lack Boron.
SUPPLEMENTING WITH BORAX
Dr. Newnham’s research proved that after Borax supplementation an individual’s bones were much harder and stronger. With additional Boron, bone fractures healed in half the normal time in both man and animal. Horses and dogs with broken legs, and even a broken pelvis, fully recovered. A young girl, aged 9 months, with juvenile arthritis was supplemented with Boron and she was essentially ‘cured’ by Dr. Newnham in 2 weeks.
Rex Newnham’s research indicates that generally people are healed from their arthritis pain, swelling and stiffness in approximately 1 to 3 months.
He also stated that many patients with arthritis commonly experienced a Herxheimer reaction, which is an early aggravation of symptoms with increased pain for a short period of time (you may feel worse before you feel better). It is commonly due to toxins being released by killed Candida and mycoplasma. This is very common with antimicrobial therapy, and borax definitely is an exceptionally good and strong fungicide. Dr. Newnham regarded Herxheimer as a good prognostic sign indicating that the body was healing.
It has been estimated that 55% of Americans over the age of 50 have osteoporosis and of these approximately 80% are women. Worldwide 1 in 3 women and 1 in 12 men over the age of 50 have osteoporosis, and this is responsible for millions of fractures each year. In scientific studies Rats with osteoporosis were given a Boron supplement for 30 days with the result that their bone quality was then comparable with that of the healthy control group and of a group supplemented with estradiol (6).
The beneficial effect of Boron on bones seems to be due to two interrelated effects: a higher Boron content of the bones which makes them harder, and a normalization of sex hormones which stimulates the growth of new bone. Low estrogen levels after menopause are thought to be the main reason why so many older women develop osteoporosis. In men testosterone levels decline more gradually which seems to be reflected in their later onset of osteoporosis as a group.
Research has now shown that Boron supplementation in postmenopausal women doubles the blood level of the most active form of estrogen, 17-beta estradiol, to the level found in much younger women. Equally, the blood levels of testosterone more than doubled (7). Boron appears to BALANCE the levels of sex hormones. With ConventionalSynthetic Hormone Replacement Therapy there is a higher risk of breast or endometrial cancer which is NOT known to happen with hormones produced by the body as with Boron supplementation or with Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Breast cancer is related to calcifications in the breast. Tests have shown that it is important to normalize the calcium-magnesium metabolism and cellular membrane functions within the body in order to reduce the risks of breast cancer.
A recent study in younger men (29 – 50) showed that the level of free testosterone (the form that matters most) had risen by one third after a daily supplementation borax for one week (8). This may be of special interest for bodybuilders. Research with Boron has shown that elevated testosterone levels are beneficial by shrinking prostate tumors and PSA levels, PSA being a marker for tumors and inflammation in the prostate gland.
Significantly improved memory and cognition in both sexes of elderly individuals may be partly due to increased levels of sex hormones and to improved membrane functions of the brain cells (9).
FUNGI AND FLUORIDE
Being such an excellent fungicide it is not surprising that Borax is being successfully used to treat Candida overgrowth. There is a great deal of interesting information on an Earth Clinic forum called Borax Cures (10). Many contributors have written that it has completely cured or greatly helped them.
In normal healthy conditions Candida exists as harmless oval yeast cells. When challenged, chains of elongated cells called pseudohyphae develop, and finally strongly invasive long, narrow and tube-like filaments called hyphae. These damage the intestinal wall, and cause inflammation and Leaky Gut Syndrome.
Pseudohyphae and hyphae can be seen in the blood of individuals with cancer and autoimmune diseases. Candida can also form tough layers of biofilm. This same study shows that Borax inhibits the formation of biofilms and also the transformation of harmless yeast cells into invasive hyphal form. Other articles have shown that this process, commonly initiated by antibiotics, is a basic cause of most of our modern diseases, and this makes Borax and Boron primary health remedies. Boron is also used to remove accumulated fluoride and heavy metals from the body(14).
Fluoride not only causes bones and joints to deteriorate, but also the pineal gland to calcify and the thyroid gland to become underactive. Borax reacts with fluoride ions to form Boron fluorides which are then excreted in the urine.
While in good health and especially in younger years a calcium – magnesium ratio of 2:1 is normal and beneficial. But with increasing age, Boron deficiency and resulting disease conditions we REQUIRE progressively less calcium but more magnesium.
Boron is an important regulator of cell membrane functions, especially in regard to movements of calcium and magnesium. In Boron deficiency an excessive amount of calcium moves into the cell while magnesium is unable to move inside to displace the calcium.
This is the condition of old age; and all of the symptoms of boron-deficiency diseases leading up to it.
For Boron to be fully effective in reversing tissue calcification ample magnesium is required. For older individuals 400 to 600 mg of magnesium together with the daily Boron supplementation spaced out during the day. However, the correct form of oral Magnesium must be taken to avoid the usual laxative effect.
Sources strongly doubt whether calcium supplements are needed or even beneficial, even in case of osteoporosis. Tests show that most individuals have plenty of calcium (stored in their soft tissues where it does not belong), and supplementing Boron and Magnesium redeposit this misplaced calcium directly into bones.

Long-standing severe calcification buildup cannot be redistributed in a short period of time while on Boron supplementation. Increased calcium levels in affected areas such as the hips and shoulders may cause problems for a considerable time, such as a tendency to severe cramping and pain, or problems with the blood circulation, or nerve transmission. Higher amounts of calcium and fluoride passing through the kidneys may cause temporary kidney pain. Further, kidney pain appears to be mainly due to kidney stones being released, after a few days when the stones are cleared the pain usually stops.
Such healing reactions cannot be avoided when aiming for a higher level of health, but they can be minimized by increasing boron levels only gradually. Whenever you experience an unpleasant effect reduce or temporarily stop boron intake until the problem subsides. Then gradually start increasing again. Helpful additional measures are a greatly increased fluid intake, using more organic acids such as lemon juice or vinegar, and improving lymph flow as with rebounding, walking or inverted positions.
WHAT AND HOW MUCH TO USE….here is where it clearly becomes a personal choice.
Like MANY other people, Sally Fallon the President and Founder of The Weston A. Price Organization, takes pure BORAX dissolved in water, [as I have detailed below], and has benefited greatly and reports excellent results. I too began to supplement with Borax and was experiencing much pain relief of my arthritis in a short period of time but I also began to experience gastrointestinal distress. (Perhaps I was taking too much, I was unable to find an amount of Borax that my body did not react to. I was forced to stop taking Borax.)
Signs of taking too much Borax are not being hungry, nausea, vomiting, lethargy, dermatitis and diarrhea. If you stop taking it for a day or so all of these symptoms will go away. The antidote for Boron toxicity is to consume extra B2.
Boron TABLETS can be bought from health shops or the Internet, commonly with 3 mg of Boron per tablet. While suitable as a general Boron supplement, it is not known if or how well Boron tablets work, Chelated Minerals are only 40% absorbable in the body. Most scientific studies and individual experiences in regard to arthritis, osteoporosis, or sexual hormones and menopause were with pure Ionic Borax.  It is not yet known if non-ionic Boron tablets are as effective as Borax.

Since ionic Boron does not build up in the body,  it never reaches toxic levels. Therefore feel free to find the amount that works best for you.
In the USA Borax can still be found in the laundry and cleaning sections of supermarkets, (unlike Europe and Australia where it is banned). It is safe to use, and is the legal standard for agricultural grade Borax. Remember that there is no “food-grade” Borax available or necessary because ALL Borax is the same and “natural”. Under ‘Ingredients’ it should list ONLY Sodium Tetraborate.

HERE IS HOW ONE SUPPLEMENTS WITH PURE BORAX (which is also an Ionic form of Boron when taken into the body): Dissolve a lightly rounded teaspoonful (5-6 grams) of Borax in 1 quart of filtered water. (Pour a small amount of boiling water in the quart jar first and stir to dissolve; then fill the jar with cold, filtered water.) This is your concentrated solution, keep it out of reach of small children.
For the Standard Dose: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of concentrate. This has 25 to 30 mg of Borax and provides approximately 3 mg of Boron. If you have no specific health problems or for maintenance you may consume with 1 or 2 teaspoons daily.
If you DO have health problems such as arthritis, osteoporosis and related conditions such as, joint-pain, cramps, spasms, or stiffness, menopause, and also to improve low sex hormone production, increase the intake to 1 – 3 Tablespoons (depending on your size and how you feel after taking the doses.) Space-out these doses over the day for several months or longer until you feel that your problem has sufficiently improved. Then drop back to 1 or 2 teaspoons per day for maintenance.
Closely monitor how you feel and adjust accordingly. Stopping the doses for a couple of days per week can be a good protocol, or take one week per month off and then start the doses again. Pay attention to how you feel.
In 3 months I plan to assess how I feel and I may re-adjust how I am taking the Ionic Liquid Boron and also the number of times per day. In any case I plan to take Boron for the rest of my life to prevent arthritis from coming back, along with any of the other diseases of aging mentioned above.
By the way if the Boron-Magnesium cure for the above mentioned diseases should become widely known, the vital income stream for the pharmaceutical Industry would dry up and the system would collapse. Since Big Pharma is the biggest and most profitable industry in the world they will do anything in their power to prevent this from happening.
For example publicly demonizing Borax for alleged toxicity that quite simply isn’t true.
Simple TABLE SALT is 100 times more dangerous than Borax! Table Salt changes ones genetic material and is a mutagenic. (A mutagen is a physical or chemical agent that changes the genetic material, usually DNA, of an organism and thus increases the frequency of mutations; such as cancer.) However, have you ever seen a CAUTION statement on a box of Table Salt? Borax is a clean and natural product and is not harmful when taken in small quantities.
I am relieved to find out that my joint issues are simply a Boron deficiency, and now I know how to correct that deficiency. I’m so happy I learned before I went under the knife!

I first became interested in homeopathy about 20 years ago when my wife gave me Arnica following a skiing accident and the healing was spectacular. I felt I had to learn more about homeopathy – just how could a couple of tablets placed under my tongue produce such remarkable healing and what other homeopathic remedies would be useful in my dental practice?



I attended regular seminars at the Manchester Homeopathic Clinic, a charitable institution and teaching centre allied to the Faculty of Homeopathy in London, under the tutelage of Dr George Burns and was inspired by his knowledge and humour (“dentists are collectors of old magazines who run a filling station”) and also at the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital. Together with a small group of like-minded dentists, I began a tremendously exciting journey on the road to dental homeopathy.
The homeopathic dentist is concerned about the “whole” patient not just the “hole” in the tooth. No longer should dentists be regarded as “ drillers, fillers and billers” and thankfully our previous gruesome image is becoming confined to history.



Remedies in dentistry
Although Arnica is the major remedy in dentistry (I give it to my patients routinely before and after treatment), many other remedies are in fact used: from Aconite for shock, panic and fear of dentists to Zingiber, an excellent remedy for nausea and gagging. If you have the collywobbles at the thought of going to the dentist and have to keep running to the loo, try Gelsemium, one tablet under the tongue every hour or so beforehand depending on the severity.
Homeopathic remedies are proving valuable in making treatments more comfortable. For instance, when local anaesthetics are used, Chamomilla is an excellent antidote. Patients can begin taking it every fifteen minutes after dental treatment is completed to reduce the numbness. Ledum is particularly important for people who have soreness from the local anaesthetic needle (puncture wound) in the area of the injection.
Another problem is sensitivity. Since almost any preparation of the tooth can involve minute nerve tubules, these fibres rather than the main nerve of the tooth are often sensitive after treatment. Bonding restoratives and other materials used in these techniques often cause some post-operative sensitivity. Two homeopathic remedies are beneficial here: Hypericum because of its nerve injury healing properties is also very useful after root canal therapy, and Magnesium phosphorus, which is often referred to as the “homeopathic aspirin”.
Plantago tincture is a remedy I have found most beneficial when rubbed onto or around a tooth or teeth that are sensitive to hot or cold, or applied as a “toothache tincture” into a cavity.
Long appointments
Modern dentistry can accomplish much more in less time, and it is not unusual for a dentist to do in one appointment what he used to do in half a dozen appointments years ago. The trend in modern high tech treatment is towards “cosmetic” dentistry: “Hollywood” smiles, porcelain crowns, inlays, facings and tooth whitening. These procedures improve and enhance appearance and increase confidence and can have a very positive effect on personality.
However keeping the mouth open for extended periods does cause problems for some patients. Magnesium phosphorus or Causticum may be prescribed to relieve cramping of the jaw or inability to open the mouth. Arnica should also be given if there is soreness or bruising. For a soothing mouthwash try a few drops of Hypercal (Hypericum and Calendula tincture) in a small glass of warm water to relieve dryness and make the mouth feel much more comfortable after any dental procedures, particularly those involving surgery.
Gum disease
Dental decay is not the only cause of tooth pain. Periodontal (gum) disease can be painful and is a major cause of tooth loss. Treatment can be complex and the remedies depend on your constitutional prescription and require the attention of an experienced homeopathic dentist.
Remedies for children
Chamomilla is a remedy most used for teething infants. Frustrated parents have discovered that a teething fractious baby very often falls asleep after a dose of Chamomilla. However it is better to prevent the trouble by looking out for a rise in the baby’s temperature (reddened cheeks) and not giving any milk to drink after mid-day. It is the combination of the growing tooth and the curdling of the milk in the stomach, caused by the raised temperature, that really troubles the baby. The growing tooth by itself will not be a problem. Chamomilla also helps soothe an irritable child and even children with painful abscesses respond to this remedy.
Nux vomica is indicated for children who vomit before going to the dentist. As a temporary measure to treat caries (decay) apply Plantago tincture to the cavity. For allergic reactions I would suggest trying Anacardia.
After any adjustment of braces or wires use Ruta and if the wires have cut into the cheeks or lips use Staphysagria (a good remedy if there is cutting and stitching). Calendula tincture is soothing and healing to all damaged tissue.
Oral surgery
After surgery Silica 6 twice daily is useful to help root fragments or splinters of bone exfoliate. Ruta is tremendously helpful in implant surgery, particularly when the bone is surgically prepared for the implant. If you have had implants inserted do not take Silica as this may cause the implant to be rejected.
Neuralgia
Tension, anxiety and anger can cause tooth clenching (bruxism) which may also bring on neuralgic pain of dental origin. A number of homeopathic remedies are very useful but are best prescribed by a homeopath.
DIY emergency treatment
Fortunately, dental emergencies are not very common but the safest course is to call your regular dental surgery; they may be able to see you. If this is not possible, because the trouble occurs outside of normal working hours, or you are far from home, here are a few tips, which may help. Take one tablet, either potency 6c or 30c, if there is no improvement after ten minutes, repeat the dose. If there is still no relief consult a homeopath.
Pain and/or swelling
This must be the most common emergency after dental treatment. Arnica is the remedy here. You can anticipate trouble by always taking an Arnica tablet just before entering the surgery and taking another as soon as you leave, if there has been any treatment done under local anaesthetic, or any deep scaling.
Toothache
Toothache has several remedies depending on the symptoms experienced. For example, throbbing pain will be relieved by Belladonna. If heat brings on the pain, Pulsatilla will ease it. If cold eases the pain, Coffea will help. If clenching the teeth eases the pain, Staphisagria will help. If rubbing the cheek over the tooth eases the pain, Merc sol will help.
Other remedies include:
  • Aconite for toothache which comes after being out in cold dry winds.
  • Arnica for where there is bruising, soreness and pain.
  • Magnesium phosphate for relief from heat, pain shoots like lightening.
  • Silica for toothache with swollen face and glands, abscess at root of teeth; sufferer wants the face to be warm.
  • Chamomilla very useful in tincture form for acute toothache of pulpal (nerve) origin.
Bleeding
If you have had a tooth extracted and later in the day the socket starts to bleed, apply pressure to the wound by biting on a damp, rolled-up handkerchief and take a Phosphorus tablet. Phosphorus is indicated when the blood is bright red, which it is likely to be in this case. If the blood is bluish, then Lachesis is the indicated remedy. This latter remedy is more often indicated when there is bleeding from the gums from gum disease.
Infection
If, after tooth extraction, some infection gets into the socket and it becomes painful and a bit smelly, then Gunpowder is the remedy that will stop the pain and infection. (Soldiers in the Crimea knew about this and used to take gunpowder from a bullet if they had a gunshot wound.)
Abcess
If you are ever unfortunate enough to have toothache with a gum boil which is red, swollen and throbbing, then Belladonna will bring relief. If, in the acute stage, the swelling from the abscess runs down into the neck, Myristica is an absolutely magical remedy. When the abscess has occurred before and the condition is more chronic, then Hepar sulph will quickly bring relief. It must be potency 6c. This is very important as the higher potency will make the gum boil discharge through the skin. Potency 6c makes the body’s lymphatic system drain the abscess.
Mouth ulcers
These can be extremely painful. They are relieved very quickly with Feverfew. Some people have repeated attacks of mouth ulcers and they should continue to take the Feverfew for a few days after the ulcers have gone. This will break the cycle of repeated attacks
Cold sores
A painful cold sore (herpes) on your lip can be cured very quickly with Rhus tox.
Amalgam fillings
Merc sol is a wonderful remedy for eliminating mercury from the body. Anyone who has anxieties about amalgam fillings can take this remedy: three on day one and one a day for the rest of the week. Whenever an amalgam filling is removed by your dental surgeon, follow the same regime.
Trauma injury
For a blow to a tooth take Arnica and if the tooth feels loose take Ruta hourly.
Cavities
To treat caries (decay) temporarily, apply Plantago tincture liberally on a cotton wool bud to the cavity.
Conclusion
Homeopathy definitely has a place in modern dental treatment. It is not a replacement for the skills of the dentist but is a vital adjunct in many cases, particularly to help those of you who are apprehensive or suffer from gum problems that are not responding to conventional treatment.
A homeopathic remedy may be readily added to the dentist’s treatment procedures, resulting in less discomfort, shorter period of recovery and will make the patient feel better without side effects. Homeopathic remedies increase your ability to heal and enable you to handle the dental experience with confidence.

As to why the actions of a 15-year-old British teenager had to be placed under the restrictions of the Official Secrets Act, this report details, was shockingly revealed just days ago in the Old Bailey when Kane Gamble (now 18) admitted that he alone, and not the two American citizens forced to plead guilty by the Obama regime, was solely responsible for illegally obtaining the emails of CIA Director John Brennan and releasing them to Wikileaks—and that he was able to accomplish without ever leaving his childhood bedroom in Leicestershire—and his, also, stunningly admitting that he didn't even technically hack into US intelligence systems, but rather used “social engineering” (manipulating people into doing what one needs done) to find and release many of the Obama regimes most highly kept secrets.

President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans have the power, working together or separately, to immediately declassify all the relevant information.
And if indeed the GOP’s explosive claims are accurate – if, as US Congressman Steve King, says, this is “worse than Watergate” — they obviously have every incentive to get it into the public’s hands as soon as possible.

Hawthorn is rich in flavonoids which protect small capillary vessels from free-radical damage. It normalizes blood pressure, lowers cholesterol and fat deposits in the liver and aorta. In addition to arrhythmia, hawthorn also helps conditions such as angina, arteriosclerosis, blood clots, and hypertension.     Abrianna -- Spokesperson for the Remnant

    I have always had an affinity for ancient studies and for understanding different cultures and people. My grandfathers work was about gathering a remnant people to raise consciousness and give them a voice in the white community. The Indian Placement Program was revealed for that purpose, but as we all know there will be a second gathering where the remnant will rise up and claim who they are. This is a continuation of that work.

    The Remnant have been described as those from the Old Testament who will be adopted in or are of the true lineage of the house of Israel. Or the Remnant from the New Testament are the followers of Jesus Christ.
    In the Book of Mormon, the Remnant are the American Indian people.

    As all that is true, simply put, the Remnant are those who hear the sacred call within, rise up and stand in their truth, and walk the path of Christed mastery.

    Leaders of the house of Israel were called out of Babylon making personal sacrifices to bring in a millennial time. They have consecrated all--have given up jobs, the comforts of their homes, and often families who have misunderstood their purposes.

    We live in unprecedented times as we prepare for the return of Jesus Christ. We will soon see the return of the Enochs, the Melchizadeks, and the Lost Ten Tribes, and come to know the true history and connection to ancient civilizations, and our governments involvement.
